Jeff Kenagy

Chair

Jeff Kenagy has lived in the Canby community all his life. After graduating from Canby High in 1966, he attended Portland State University and graduated in 1970 with a B.A. in Finance. From 1970-1976 he was a member of the Army National Guard in Oregon. In 1977 Jeff passed the Certified Public Accountant exam and practiced in the Portland, Oregon area until 1985. From 1985 until 1993 he was CFO of a manufacturing company in Tualatin Oregon. In 1993, he purchased a 50% interest in Northwest Hazelnut Company, and has served as president of the organization from 1993 to present.


Jay Burke

Secretary

Jay Burke attended California Baptist University earning a BA in Behavioral Science and is currently employed as a Parole Officer in Multnomah County.  He and his wife have been residents of Canby for five years.  He is member of Grace Chapel.


Gerry Brown

Gerry Brown was born and raised in Pierce, Northern Idaho. He obtained degrees in Education from the University of Idaho. He worked in Washington for thirteen years where he taught, counseled, and coached at the high school level. In 1975 he relocated to Canby where he accepted the position as an Administrator in Canby High School and served in this capacity for twenty years. Mr. Brown is a member of the Rotary Club of Canby.


Char Chase

Char Chase has earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University, Master of Science (Nursing) from University of Portland and is currently employed as RN, Nurse Manager at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center, Oregon City. She is an active member of the Oregon City Evangelical Church where she serves on Women’s Missions Committee and has been a member of the Board of Trustees. Ms. Chase is a member of the Rotary Club of Canby and served as its President 2008-2009.

Frank Cutsforth

Frank Cutsforth is a life long Canby native. After graduating from Canby High School, he attended the University of Oregon. Market is a fourth generation supermarket located in Canby. Frank is the owner and is now working with his children running the business of 120 employees. Involvement in the Canby community has been a trademark of the Cutsforth family. Frank is presently a member of the Canby Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the NW Thriftway Board of Directors, The Canby Center, and has served with the Canby Education Foundation Board, Canby Kids Board, and Our Community Television Board.


Doug Gingerich

Douglas Gingerich has been a Canby resident for 62 years. He served the Canby community in Education Administration for 37 years in the Canby Schools. He is a member of Zion Mennonite Church.


Roger Reif

Roger Reif was born and raised in the Canby community. After graduating from high school he attended Willamette University and graduated with a BA in 1970. After military duty, he returned to college and obtained his JD from Willamette University College of Law. Mr. Reif returned to the Canby community to practice law and has been active in community events. He is presently a member of Canby Chamber of Commerce and Canby Rotary Club. He also serves on the non-profit board of directors of Willamette Falls Hospice, Canby Educational Foundation, and The Canby Center.
